Back to La Buca with Lucca!

After a beautiful moon rise last night, we woke up and headed through Parma to our favorite lunch location in Zibello.
However this was not our first stop. Nearby was another culatello producer, but the experience was weird and scary. The farm looked unattended, had pigs lying in mud and a giant pig head attached to the wall (fake, but weird nonetheless). We left there as fast as we could discreetly depart.



In great contrast, Lucca runs La Trattoria De La Buca which is world famous for culatello. We were not disappointed as Lucca was there and helped us finish the meal with nocino and verdino, two great herbal digestivos.
