Horse meat, pork cheeks, no thank you..torta frita...all day!

Dinner suggested by Andriano, our b and b host, was a real treat. We had to navigate through the Italian menu and avoid horse ravioli and pork cheek slices. When we found the torta frita ( deep fried bread puffs to melt prosciutto on) we were all in! Don't get me wrong, I can step out on food, as you'll see with the gnocchi with rabbit...and the chocolate covered ricotta torte wad a wonderful way to end the meal. Very inexpensive, very tasty and we shared everything.,.great way to enjoy the experience!
