Today was drive to Lago di Garda day, take the cable car to the top of Monte Baldo and hike down 2/3rds of the way, and take the cable car down the final 3rd. Great plan! But! Didn't expect to wait 2 hours in line for tickets and access to the gondola. Isn't there a joke about different nationalities in charge of different things in heaven and in hell? Hmm... Yet, we were not dissuaded and thankfully the plan was fully implemented. Difficult descent over the 5 mile hike down, but the views were extraordinary! We even found the perfect Elva bench! The tractor is a Lamborghini! And the parasailers were out in force.
So nice!!
