Dinner 468 at Bovio in La Morra!

Praise the Lord for perfect weather, spectacular view, delicious meal and gorgeous girlfriend! We had a wonderful waiter who looked like a young Billy Crystal...and he was funny! With prosecco aperitifs and a spectacular bottle of 2005 Barolo from their own cellar, the total cost was less than a Hawk's Sunday Supper...unless you add in the airfare:)
Veal crudo, porcini mushrooms, black truffle, pasta and veal comprised the key menu items. Without detail, here are the arrangements of the appetizers in order of their appearance.
Jeff, Nick, Jim, Stu, Mark, Steve and all my non merlots bros..I loved this decanter!

Then the primi piatti...Peggy's microscopically thin pasta and my porcini and truffle risotto.

The secondi was split between us, thankfully...roasted veal with black truffles, parmesan and local vegetables.
Dessert included sorbetto (it's the law) and various taste treats.

Praise God from Whom all blessings flow!
